Canvas is a supplement to the website. The website is easier for me to manage, and to integrate online resources.
I use Canvas
- to host files that need to remain password-protected, e.g. to protect copy-right
- for some assignments
I will always provide a link on the website to the particular Canvas part you need. You may have to log in to the Canvas website separately, for instance if you are off campus. Most pages on the blog are public, for those that are password-protected, you will find a password on Canvas.
